Description: Henrico Doctors Hospital Forest is presently looking of Rad Tech PRN right now, this career will be placed in Virginia. More details about this career opportunity please read the description below. SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*

• 1.

Performs quality patient care within the Cath Lab Scope of Care.

• 2.

Functions in scrub and circulating role for diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Assists circulating nurse with patient care.

• 3.

Responsible for all phases of Digital/Filmless imaging.

• 4.

Able to operate and troubleshoot equipment in the Cath Lab.

• 5.

Actively participates in continuing education.

6.

Restock! s and cleans work area to promote patient safety.

7.

Takes call after regular hours per unit policy.

• 8.

Serves as a liaison for the Cardiac Cath Lab to promote physician, interdepartmental, and

Intra departmental relationships.

• 9.

Utilizes appropriate communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, families,

Physicians and staff.

• 10.

Participates in departmental continuous quality improvement (CQI) planning and monitoring.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

Required - One year as diagnostic radiographer.

Preferred - Previous Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

EDUCATION

Required - Graduate from an accredited school of radiology technology with certificate

s a Registered Radiology Technologist., ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.

Preferred - Special procedure courses by an accredited program.
