TriMech Solutions, a Mid Atlantic Engineering Software Solutions Firm, is currently seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to support our clients technical issues. Our clients support needs range from technical support of SOLIDWORKS software issues, engineering/design support by means of engineering tools, and general phone support on basic software related questions.
The Technical Support Engineer can support multiple products that range from SOLIDWORKS, Data Management tools, rapid prototyping technologies and Simulation & Analysis tools. The emphasis will be on SOLIDWORKS.
DUTIES ! :
Provide comprehensive technical support and explicit! instructions for SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS branded productsPerform and support Clients with issues related to:
o FEA Analysis
o Mechanical Design
o Software Bugs/Problems
o Software performance Issues
o Basic Solidworks EPDM Issues
o Basic Solidworks Electrical Issues
o 3DVIA Composer technical support
o Technical support/troubleshooting for 3D Printers
Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients.
Provide guidance and problem solving for software (and potentially design/analysis) related issues for Trimechs clients.
Liaise with customers and in-house staff and partners regarding technical information as related to SOLIDWORKS and related products
REQUIREMENTS:
BSME or (ASME with 2 years experience)
Must have internship/co-op/employment in a design or manufacturing company
Must have Mechanical Design experience using a 3D parametric CAD tool (SOLIDWORKS preferred)
Excellent customer relat! ions ability required
Must have strong verbal, written and listening communication skills
Must have the ability to work in a busy environment and be adaptable to an ever-changing daily/weekly schedule of engineering tasks.
Must be a self starter that needs little management oversight in order to accomplish assigned engineering tasks.
Successful candidate will have the desire/ability to grow into a Lead Tech Support role.
