SUMMARY: Maintain the golf course including daily care and construction projects, ensuring a consistent, quality playing experience for members and guests.
EXPECTATIONS:
Provide platinum service while maintaining a clean and safe environment for members, guests, and staff
Know and embrace the mission statement and platinum service basics
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Blow leaves and debris using backpack blowers
Trim grass with push mowers and weedeaters
Edge bunkers, irrigation heads, yardage markers, and curbing with mechanical edger
Rake bunkers using a hand rake and a mechanical rake
Operate walk reel mowers (greens mower)
Operate small utility vehicles and manual transmission dump utility vehicles
Service on-course water coolers and restrooms
Spread mulch, fill divots, repair ball marks, and remove! debris and weeds from mulch beds
Set tee markers in corre! ct locations
Drag fairways to remove dew and/or grass clippings
Remove and install sod
Must be available to work holidays, weekends and overtime during the golf season
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
SCHEDULE: Schedule is typically 6:30AM-3:00PM and will include mandatory weekend work.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and stand for lengthy periods of time and walk. Employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs unassisted. Employee is regularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are repr! esentative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and moving mechanical parts.
EQUIPMENT USED: Backpack, blowers, weedeaters, edgers, push mowers, manual transmission utility vehicles, sod-cutting machine, golf utility vehicles, and other commonly used hand tools such as shovels and rakes.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: Must have a valid driver's license to operate golf carts and be 18 years old to drive motor vehicles.
