The Richmond Times-Dispatch is looking for a talented Graphic Artist to join our advertising team! This position will generate effective advertising and collateral materials for internal and external customers while subscribing to! the highest standards of professional and creative endeavor and deadlines; c onceptualize, design and produce superior-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven and team-oriented environment to meet established deadlines for on-time production of print and web advertising, advertorials and special projects; t rack and assist with the timely production of any specialized projects; maintain effective communication with account representatives to assure that their design and production needs are being met or exceeded; p articipate in customer meetings, planningsessions, and coordinate with freelance writers and photographers on assigned projects.
REQUIRED: Design-related college degree. Professional experience producing print and web collateral for clients and a diverse portfolio of design and publication work.
PREFERRED: Several years of professional design experience in a media environment.
