Plant Superintendent
Location: Richmond, Virginia

- A four year college degree in a technical field (Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, etc.) or business and administration field is required.
- 8-15 years ! experience in manufacturing.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, some experience in Access, PowerPoint, and other software programs a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills are required for formula creation, use and spreadsheet development are needed. Complex spreadsheets and nested conditionals will be required.
- Supervises and coordinates activities of plant.
- Responsible for production, personnel management, regulatory compliance, inventory management, capital expenditures, continuous improvement, recordkeeping and benchmarking.
- Coordinate with Corporate for production schedule, inventory planning and reporting.
- Monitor Federal, State and local laws and regulations and ensure plant compliance (in coordination with Corporate). Maintain permits, reports and other legal documents related to the plant legal compliance.
- Supervise all plant capital expenditures.
- Oversee all spending ! and reporting to Corporate.
- Develop and maintain plan! t operating budget, product standard cost and other plant accounting as required.
