More details about this career opportunity kindly read the description below. Manages a specific operations segment or a small operations unit of the company's operations activities! . May report to a group operations manager or a Sr. Operations Manager. Involved in a variety of projects. Responsible for expense management, enterprise management, and building business/client relationships. Oversees daily activities ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards and adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g. client inquiries, transaction research). Develops and implements new processes/procedures to improve operating efficiency and to ensure timeliness and accuracy of workflow. Decisions impact multiple product lines, customers, and associates. Modifies existing procedures and analyzes and resolves non-routine and/or moderately complex operational problems often requiring research and involvement from other business functional experts. Requires thorough operations knowledge of specific products/ services line managed, usually gained through operations experience. Forecast / manage staffing levels and capacities. Responsible for per! formance management. Six Sigma preferred. Bachelor's degree or! comparable work experience preferred with 3-5 years supervisory experience.
Manages a team of employees that receives calls from clients to initiate wire transfers. Monitor workflow and operational efficiencies to ensure compliance with all procedures and goals. Thorough understanding of the Wire Transfer business, rules and regulations.
Oversees daily activities and ensures adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements. Develops and implements new processes/procedures to improve operating efficiency and to ensure timeliness and accuracy of workflow. Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures to make daily operations in the areas more efficient. Manages performance for their entire team, including Employee development, compensation decisioning, and talent planning.
Responsible for expense management, reporting and forecasting. Requires general knowledge of managing an operations area and may be used as a primary contributor in a variety of pro! jects. Leads and directs the work of others and ensures staffing levels and capacity are appropriate to meet production requirements. Manages client, business and supplier relationships. Partners with Product Management to ensure understanding of the strategic direction of the product.
Six Sigma/Lean experience preferred. Incumbents normally have 3-5 years of operational management experience or Bachelor's degree. Directly manages 10-15 employees which may cover multiple shifts/sites.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
3-5 years management experience in high paced production environment.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Able to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines
Able to manage staffing levels to the volume of production and meet processing requirements, quality standards and regulatory requirements. Must have a proven track re! cord of coaching and developing associates, building effective teams an! d is effective in employee engagement activities.
PC Skills: MS Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint.
Ability to develop and facilitate training sessions.
Ability to resolve complex issues and escalate as needed.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:
Green belt certified preferred, with experience in leveraging six sigma tools to drive error reduction and process improvement.
Ability to build partnerships to achieve swift adoption.
Instill management focus and discipline.
Ability to build a productive team and coordinate workflows.
Experience with global markets and currencies.
Bi-lingual skills - Spanish is a plus
