- A four year college degree in a technical field (Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, etc.)
- Must have BS or BA in Marketing or related field, MBA strongly preferred
- Minimum 15 years in a spirits marketing company
- Take initiative, develop innovative and creative ideas
- Must have experience with event marketing and PR as well as advertising and promotion
- Analytical, strategic and decision making skills
- Able to function in a fast-paced business environment
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills
- Development and execution of annual marketing plans (including P&L, packaging, pricing, promotion, advertising, market research, PR, and new product development)
- Able to build consumer/trade equity for brand through design and execution of strategies (including special events, promotion, PR, and advertising)
- Able to work closely with sales channel to identify opportunities to expand business
- Manage all outside agency, advertising and PR, if applicable
- Able to provide analysis when sales vary from forecast a! nd ensure accurate and timely monthly updates
- Interfa! ce with all appropriate internal channels (Operations, Finance, and Sales) and senior management
