• Our client, a major oil and gas company, has engaged us to identify a Senior Counsel or Counsel level attorney who will advise on all legal issues in the course o! f one of its refinery business’ activities relating to its operations; capital projects, including a renewal project; land use; and governmental relations. Among other things, this attorney will have the opportunity to review and prepare complex commercial agreements and transactions; advise, advocate positions, and develop strategies with business clients; and conduct training.

This is an opportunity for a highly qualified lawyer who has a passion for significant complex transactional work in the oil and gas industry. In addition, this attorney should possess at least five years of experience working with municipal and state governments regarding project permitting and C! EQA issues, some experience managing litigation or significant! transactions, and be able to travel as necessary. Downstream oil and gas experience is preferred.
