PROGRAM AND STEWARDSHIP ASSOCIATE
T he Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Foundation seeks a self-starter to support the ste! wardship of donors and members. Reporting to the Donor Programs and Events Mana ger , this position will create, plan and execute a variety of programs , e vents and communications ; develop and manage guest list s ; prepar e and deliver event invitations ; manag e and report RSVP responses; and track program and event expenses. The coordinator will also work closely wi th staff in Special Events and Publications and outside vendors as needed to communicate goals and expectations and execut e program and event logistics . Additionally, this position will serve as the primary point of contact and record keeper for donor recognition.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree and donor stewardship experience . He/she will be detail-oriented , organized and proficient with computers . Familiarity with donor databases is preferred and expertise with excel spreadsheet s required. . Superior written, verbal and interpersonal skills are essential for effective commu! nication with staff and museum donors . Some occasional weeken! d and evening work is required. Selected candidate must pass a s ecurity background check . EOE/AA
