Briefly state the chief objective of this position and age group(s) to be served (if applicable):
To develop, implement and monitor th! e patient experience strategic initiative and activities in a manner that fosters excellence in service delivery to internal and external stakeholders. Work collaboratively with health system administration, management, staff, patients, families and other stakeholders to develop, coordinate and support programs and activities related to patient, visitor and employee satisfaction. Act as the primary point person for all Star Service related projects, as well as all HCAHPS and PRC-related activities and relationships.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment including CPR, etc.:

Level and type of experience REQUIRED :

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project management
• Previous experience in service excellence, project management, and regulatory compliance roles
Additional education beyond a Bachelors Degree may substitute! for up to two (2) years of experience

Level and type of experience PREFERRED:

• Previous experience and exposure to multi dimensions of healthcare
• Experience on an academic setting that included consulting with stakeholders from various backgrounds to develop balanced service excellence solutions
• Experience is Service Recovery programs and benchmarking

Education/training REQUIRED:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business or related field from an accredited program

Education/training PREFERRED:

• Masters Degree Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field from an accredited program

Describe independent action(s) required:

• Requires a high degree of self-direction and ability to structure and complete tasks independently.
• Strong problem solving and written and oral communication skills.
• Must! be able to lead project teams.
• Will assist with oversight of Administrative Resident as it relates to specific projects and initiatives for which position has specific responsibilities.
• Ability to work proactively with staff and physicians to achieve service excellence best practice.
• Ability to interpret survey data and develop/implement improvement recommendations.
• Has authority and accountability for actions and decisions within the scope of the projects and assignments within this position description.
