Th! e Credit Risk Manager I will be a key member of the Strategy &! Analytics team within the Debt Management, Mortgage, and Fraud Operations (DMMFO) department. The colleague will be responsible for identifying and evaluating opportunities to improve pre and post default performance on the consumer loan portfolios that are serviced within DMMFO. He/ She will interact and partner with Operations staff and leadership to apply integrative thinking and business acumen to identify trends and make business recommendations that enhance operational efficiency and strategy. The position requires the ability to prioritize and work independently. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a high volume, fast paced, and deadline/results oriented environment. As Credit Risk Manager I in the Strategy & Analytics team, you will have the opportunity to lend your sound problem solving skills to solve complex business problems and be part of a diverse and dynamic, team-oriented environment offering multiple opportunities for professional growth. Thi! s position requires direct experience working with collections and/or recoveries strategy, analysis, and implementation.
Expectations:
Identify opportunities for revenue growth and expense reduction
Partner with operations staff to define, design, and implement business solutions and strategies
Ability to analyze and identify trends and opportunities from historical data
Develop and/or define reporting and monitoring solutions
Effectively communicate and present recommendations and solutions to senior management
The specific responsibilities involve problem frame-work, developing hypothesis, test and analysis, solutions development, historical trend analysis, scoping operational feasibility, and developing implementation efforts with monitoring plans.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
2-3 years experience working with collections/recoveries analysis and strategy
2-3 ! years experience working with support tools, e.g. SAS, SQL, Excel, etc.!
Bachelorâs degree in a related disciple (e.g. Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science)
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years working with collections/recoveries analysis and strategy
3-5 years experience working with support tools, e.g. SAS, SQL, Excel, etc.
Masterâs degree in a related disciple (e.g. Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science)
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
