Job Title: The Grill Supervisor
Department: Clubhouse-Grill
Reports To: The Grill Manager/Assistant Grill Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: Supervise dining room staff to ensure service standards are met and member satisfaction is consistently attained. Provide leadership for the staff ensuring a quality experience for members and guests.
EXPECTATIONS:
Provide platinum service while maintaining a clean and safe environment for members, guests, and staff
Know and embrace the mission statement and platinum service basics
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Provide overall team leadership
Report to work on time and in proper uniform
Visit all tables during every meal period to ensure member satisfaction and consistent delivery of platinum service
Oversee opening and closing procedures, side work, and set-up of dining rooms
Inspect dining room to ensure proper maintenance, presentation, cleanliness, and safety
Operate point-of-sale compu! ter system
Maintain inventory of supplies and oversee beve! rage control
Oversee quarterly inventories of our glassware, china, silverware, and operating supplies
Assist with the service of food and beverage and clearing and resetting of tables as needed
Enforce Club rules, regulations, and policies
Consultatively sell daily specials to all members and guests based on individuals taste and preferences
Attend manager meetings and service/production meetings to share ideas and concerns
Evaluate present operations and develop new ideas for the future
Attend CCV Professional Development Seminars
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervise 15 employees and responsible for up to 35 employees.
Responsible for training new employees, planning and assigning work, rewarding and disciplining staff, addressing complaints and resolving problems, designing incentive programs, maintaining inventory, scheduling employees, and facilitating meetings
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Excellent writte! n and verbal communication skills, MS Office proficiency, and attention to detail
SCHEDULE: Shifts will vary 9:30AM-6:00PM, 12:00PM-8:30PM, 3:00PM to close, generally 5 shifts per week. Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience strongly preferred.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years of age to sell and/or serve alcohol.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and sit and/or stand for lengthy periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Employee is also required to stand and reach with hands and arms and regularly use hands and fingers.
