Hi We have an immediate 12 months contract opportunity with our client in Richmond VA JOB SUMMARY Work on a team of IT professionals to support the full lifecycle deliveryimplementation of multiple high p! rofilesoftware projects aimed at revolutionizing business processes within Client's business unit. Translate business and user requirements into accurate system design requirements and technical specifications addressing all applications tiers and external system interfaces. Analyze and evaluate existing or developed company applications or systems and prepares documentation including detailed technical designs, system use cases, system flow charts, data models, UML diagrams, screen mock ups, and system interface descriptions outlining systems capabilities and processes. Conducts detailed data analysis and produces system data mapping deliverables.
Experience creating system test plans, system test cases, performance test cases and executing detailed testing on complex systems and or applications while facilitating issue and defect resolution with appropriate personnel. Ability to define project tasks and estimate level of effort to achieve project deliverables and! goals. Experience planning and leading software production im! plementations and establishing post go-live activities including ongoing support. Contributes to and works to meet project schedules by providing accurate estimates of effort required for systems analyst deliverables, by also providing updates on project progress to team members, project management and project personnel, and by escalating issues that might affect project success to management.
Interacts regularly with Business customers, Business Analysts, other Systems Analysts, Architects, Developers and Software vendors to meet project objectives. Experience leading small teams on COTS - Commercial-Off-the-Shelf Implementations and collaborating with vendors to resolve complex problems and deliver client results. EXPERIENCESKILLS Minimum 5 years of development andor systems analysis experience on medium to large-scale projects. Minimum 5 years of experience supporting the development configuration testing of complex n-tiered web applications as well as COTS - Co! mmercial-Off-the-Shelf Implementations.
Demonstrated ability leading complex n-tier application design on medium to large-scale projects. Demonstrated experience with creating use-case diagrams and system design specifications, test cases, test plans, sql queryingscripting, task estimates and work breakdown structures. Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills. Outstanding communication, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and projects. Demonstrated ability to lead small teams. Strong working knowledge of SDLC practices and procedures Demonstrated ability to organize materials and make presentations in front of a group Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision within a team environment Experience with agile delivery concepts and SharePoint is a plus. Other Requirements Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and! procedures Must be able and willing to collaborate in a teamcooperativ! e environment as well as exercise independent judgment and initiative.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet multiple project deadlines. Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions. Extremely detail oriented and strong customer service focus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
