1. Manages department operations.
2. Ensures facility/departmental staffing and productivity targets are met.
3. Demonstrates effective supervisory skills.
4. Demonstrates leadership in the professional development of self and others.
5. Communicates effectively with patients and their families.
6. Communicates effectively with staff, physicians and all other customers.
7. Develops, enforces and ensures compliance with all corporate, facilit! y and departmental policies.
8. Maintains clinical an! d department records as required by JCAHO, third-party payors and CJW standards.
9. Successfully promotes department and facility services to internal and external customers.
10. Renders patient care as necessary in a professional and courteous manner.
EXPERIENCE
Required - At least five (5) years of recent work experience in area of specialty.
Preferred â€" Previous experience as a supervisor/manager.
EDUCATION
Required â€" Masters in Occupational or Physical Therapy. Licensed or certified to practice in area of specialty in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
