Mckesson Medical Surgical is currently seeking a Credit and Collections Manager for our HQ facility in Richmond, VA.
Specific job duties include:
Remotely (from Richmond) oversee a t! eam of collection associates at our Moore Medical business uni! t in CT until Moore Medical hires a local Credit Manager
Track trends in Accounts receivable, anticipate past due accounts and target collections efforts appropriately
Evaluate and approve larger credit limit customers
Reporting and analysis on high risk customers
General job family information:
Responsible for managing the activities of credit approval and credit collection. Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies. Recommends credit limits, handles special credit arrangements, and problem collection accounts. Oversees analysis of accounts receivable, aging of accounts to determine overdue accounts, and collection procedures.
5+ years credit experience including 2+ years managerial experience, depending on area of assignment may be required to have relevant healthcare/insurance experience
Demonstrated managerial skills
Knowledge and experience in the commercial credit and collections field
Intermediate excel skills (create pivot tables, datamine)
Strong organization, time management, and diplomacy skills
Preferred but not required skills include:
Credit and collections experience within the field of distribution is helpful
Experience with JD Edwards is also helpful
4-year degree in finance, accounting or related field or equivalent experience
