My client is a relatively new but ambitious boutique CPA firm based in Richmond, Virginia who specialise in providing tax services to both domest! ic and international clients.

They have a very successful international tax practice and due to continued success they now seek a US Expatriate Tax Manager to come in and run client engagements and act as a key member of staff within the business. This is a rare opportunity to join a small firm at a senior level where there will be zero requirement for rain making or business development due to the International Tax Partner taking the lead on such activities.

Your experience will need to cover the following:

• Review and sign out of US Income Tax Returns, Partnership Tax Returns, Estate/Trust Tax Returns, Fiduciary Tax Returns, and Gift Tax Returns
• Expatriate Tax Compliance and consulting, Foreign Trust Compliance and Research
• In depth experience with U.S. foreign filing requirements (i.e. Forms 8865, 5471, 926, 8621)
• Understanding of Foreign Trusts Distributable Net Income calculations, as well as required fili! ngs such as Form 3520, and 3520A.

This is an opport! unity for an individual perhaps from a Big 4 or National CPA firm background who wants to leave the world of bureaucracy in such firms and join a firm where they will be challenged on a daily basis and consistently rewarded for the value they bring.

You will have a proven track record of producing high levels of client service. You will have 7+ years US expatriate tax experience, EA, CPA or JD qualified. You will currently be a high achiever in a similar firm within the US, UK or Canada.
