Position Overview
Receives inbound calls to resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner. Acts as a liaison between the branch and the customer in order to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. Answers routine questions and resolves customer service related problems. Applies fundamental principles and concepts of customer service. Follows standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned task. May handle some escalated calls and refers more complex issues to Supervisor Customer Service.
Responsibilities
- Handles inbound calls that may require a slight deviation from routine procedures to determine the root cause of customer issues.
- Uses database to assist in solving customer issues and follow-up with the customer within the communicated timeframe.
- Occasionally seeks assistance to troubleshoot customer concerns and uses save training and curre! nt save offers to retain customers at every opportunity. !
- Maintains customer database through accurate and timely data entry. Updates may include customer contact information, service related updates, and financial data.
- Ensures quality standards as outlined in the Quality Assessment form.
- Identifies opportunities and presents additional services to existing customers based on customer needs.
- Acts as a liaison between the branch and the customer in order to maintain and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- May perform outbound calls to internal and external customers to schedule applications and/or service calls.
- Communicates customer impacting trends and/or ideas for improvement to supervisor and/or manager.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two (2) to three (3) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
- Requires basic knowledge of the organization, products and/or services.
