Lean Engineer

Summary This position will help initiate and drive continuous improvement (lean), waste elimination efforts and help assist in safety efforts and activities within the manufacturing facility. The po! sition is involved in the design and planning of the manufacturing operation procedures for optimum production results.
Responsibilities
Lead or administer and/or participate in all Kaizen events
Improve processes and eliminate waste in certain manufacturing areas
Create and maintain work and job instructions within each cell
Interact with Cell Supervisors and associates to help indentify waste and improvement opportunities
Help drive measurable continuous improvement activities
Assist with safety initiatives, audits and improvements
Help maintain 0 recordable incident goal and philosophy
