More complete informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. The QA Specialist leads the development and implementation of the R&D Quality Management System (QMS). The scope of the system includes MWV’s global Research and Develo! pment organizations in Richmond, VA, Waalwijk, Netherlands and Grandview, MO. The system encompasses R&D’s overall quality policies and objectives which are in place to manage the process and product outcomes of R&D activities. Once implemented, this role ensures the System is maintained and improved (through training, infrastructure, and equipment calibration as well as system measurement and analysis techniques).
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT MWV
Collaborate with other Quality managers in MWV. Ensure R&D QMS is consistent with MWV quality principles. Liaise with external constituencies (example 3rd party quality system registrar) and interface with R&D staff to ensure process adherence. Limited interaction with other back office functions is anticipated (SH&E, Procurement).
Develop overall QMS journey map. Lead implementation. Coordinate and oversee the work of implementation teams. Interact with the R&D functional teams with regard to driving training ! programs and coach employees on adherence to the quality stand! ard/system. Indirect leadership of internal audit teams is expected. Project management is a critical skill during implementation.
System implementation to be managed as follows: Build Framework, Create Work Instructions, Implement QMS, Achieve Certification, Support On-Going Maintenance
Implements and maintains a document management system
Creates and assures robust record-keeping systems (training, calibration, etc.)
Designs and implements CAPA (Correction Action Preventive Action) system to includes customer feedback and other relevant inputs
Develops and executes internal audit schedule. Acquires and trains resources to conduct audits â€" and reports findings to management
Applies measurement and monitoring techniques to continually improve the System.
Recommend appropriate process changes
Interact with Product Stewardship function (SH&E) to assure Regulatory compliance issues are included in! the R&D quality system
As dictated by MWV’s market and business participation, lead integration of required protocols (i.e., cGMP, ISO 13485, etc.)
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Degree in Science, Engineering or related field of study.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading and/or managing Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO9001). Experience in implementing elements of a QMS program is a plus.
Proven leadership and experience in managing projects. Ability to indirectly manage and influence people within the organization.
Analytical and problem solving critical to success; with bias toward detail orientation.
Ability to take independent initiative, drive change, build consensus and win the trust of peers. Must be able to focus on single project with multiple work streams.
Must have computer experience and show proficiency in the use of basic computer tools such as spreadsheets, E-mail and word processi! ng and presentation software.
