Experience:

• Strong Business! Systems Analyst (BSA) experience in defining detailed, quality requirements gleaned from elicitation sessions from stakeholders.
• Extensive experience in IT design & build activities, with emphasis on Compute (Virtual and Physical) and Storage (SAN, NAS).
• Strong network equipment exposure and good understanding of topologies and configurations though no hands-on experience is required. Specifically â€" routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls and access gateways.
• A high level understanding of various telephony platforms such as IP telephony, dialers, call distribution and call recording technologies is desired.

Success in Role:

• With strong BSA skills, one must be attentive, proactive in driving toward results.
• Communication skills are a key to success and must be comfortable speaking with a wide range of customers from Operations personnel to senior leadership. Speaking clearly and confidently is essenti! al.
• Presentation neatness and quality is paramount to! professionally convey data collected into Excel and Word artifacts to project team members and sponsors.
• Must be motivated and self-sufficient.

Travel Expectations:

• Occasional travel (1 to 2-day duration) may be required to other facilities. (Shuttle transportation is provided to more distant locations such as those in the DC area.)

Defines solutions (requirements, designs, services, recommendations) to business/systems problems and owns the integrity of the solution through customer acceptance and final disposition of solution. Responsible for the development, maintenance, management, and delivery of technical information or documentation to the appropriate audiences in the appropriate standard formats via print and online mediums. Includes interface with management, users, and information technology professionals to create high-level conceptual solutions to business problems. Usually possesses significant knowledge in on! e or more business functional areas. BSA’s involved in agile projects will be expected to have responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle.

Financial Services experience

3+ years Experience

BSA experience (Data and Systems analysis)

Served as “lead” BSA on multiple project lifecycles; Significant experience in industry (3+ years)

QA and testing phase experience

5+ years of project experience in the quality assurance and testing phases or projects

Experience Significant experience (2+ yrs) as BSA

Deep knowledge of diverse technologies and new and current architectures

Skills in object, data, and / or process modeling, business process design (5yrs.+)

Lean/Agile development experience (3+ yrs) QA experience preferred

Excellent â€" strategic application of experience; Demonstrated experience leading r! equirements, data and systems analysis

3+ years experience wit! h COTS implementations

Outstanding negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills

Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members); Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals

Job Title : BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST
Location: RICHMOND,VA

Job Description:

• Request "Skybox" firewall data pulls from Information Security for specific firewalls for remediation
• Combine the " object name" and "resolved IP" spreadsheets into the firewall remediation template
• Research IP address from the firewall remediation template using DOS command line prompt via "nslookup" and HP Service Manager by *wildcard* host name provided in Skybox data pulls or nslookup value return to determine ASV type - Actual state and Relationship Info tabs are used heavily.
• Validate ASV naming convention by se! arch/find option in spreadsheet provided (ASV/INF catalog)
• Input ASV/INF name into "group name" field in spreadsheet for both source and destination as applicable
• Most all rule bases have multiple source or destination hosts that need to be vetted to specific ASV or INF tags
• INF tags are used infrequently
• If unable to determine ASV type in Skybox firewall list color code the line/cell in yellow and move to next entry
• Upon completion of ASV naming for specific firewall transfer specific data fields out of firewall remediation spreadsheet into FMF
