Call Analyst
Job Description:
The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be to contact leaders in th! e business industry to discuss potential expansion opportuniti! es by organizations that promote business development. The main focus is information gathering; the candidate's role requires strong interpersonal skills and frequent interaction with the clients, the ability to use metrics, reporting and other available information.
The tone, demeanor, voice and negotiation skills of the successful candidate is very important in speaking with the clients' upper level executives such as the CFO, COO, CEO, Directors and Presidents of corporations. The ideal candidate would have prior business-to-business interaction or previous work in corporate and non-profit fundraising and/or polling. Experience in an economic development field has been successful in this position. Business-to-consumer/retail sales does not necessarily meet the requirements.
This is an hourly position. There is potential for hire after a period of time and based on performance and review.
Required Qualifications:
Communication -
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Excellent phone skills - ability to build rapport and probe for information over the phone.
- Computer fluent - including Windows programs.
- Energetic, motivated and enthusiastic.
- Detail-oriented with superior time management skills while responding well to team or corporate goals.
- Able to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
