Job Title CAD/CAM operator- Relocation to Richmond, VA is required.
- Design skills from concept to finished product through the use of 3D CAD programs. Skills in SolidWorks, ArtCam with emphases in Rhino/ Matrix are required.
- Ability to create CAD work from an image or c! reation of new ideas, Post process work for CAM & Rapid Proto ! Machines.
- Ability to develop project objectives and schedules.
- Requires strong organizational Analytical and Logistical skills.
- Must communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, new product developers, sales team and the management team.
- Must be a team player.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Must have good communication skills and experience using Microsoft Office
- Precise hand/eye coordination for fine detailed work.
- Ability to stretch free hand to rely design concepts.
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities and resolving problems.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and expectations.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fine jewelry setting 3D Cad experience. Experience in a manufacturing/production environment is a plus.
- Intimate knowledge of the various setting techniq! ues and tools for various jewelry metals.
- Good eyesight as well as good eye / hand coordination. Attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time, to concentrate, and to be able to do repetitive work.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Corel Graphic Applications and rendering software.
- Strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and keep a positive attitude while under pressure.
