Applies extensive field experience with controls systems and devices to perform site investigatio! ns and walk-throughs in order to develop estimates and execution plans for project on-site activities. Supports Project Managers in the creation and execution of project installation, startup and field testing plans for multiple and/or large-scale projects to meet the Company's contractual and business obligations. Supervises day-to-day on-site activities including the work of Transdyn employed subcontractors. Provides key on-site coordination interface between the Project Team and the client and/or project owner. Applies significant technical knowledge to ensure that assigned projects comply with technical performance obligations as well as the Company's Engineering Standards and Best Practices. Easily understands all forms of field technical drawings related to the work performed by the Company. Easily recognizes potential technical risks to the project and implements effective solutions to mitigate these risks. Works to foster long-term relationships with the customer. I! dentifies partnership opportunities with clients and works clo! sely with the Project Manager to capitalize on 'add-on' sales opportunities. Provides extensive troubleshooting experience and skill. Performs both preventative and emergency corrective maintenance of the Company's installed systems. Ensures that ALL safety standards are strictly adhered to by company employees, subcontractors and vendors while on-site.
Challenges key members of the project team to develop as project leaders. Works with the Field Service Supervisors to address team member performance issues. Identifies areas of potential operational improvement within the organization and proposes plans to improve operations.
