Description: Henrico Doctors Hospital Forest is looking of Radiology Tech PRN - Forest Campus right now, this occupation will be dwelled in Virginia. Further informations about this occupation opportunity please read the description below. SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*

• 1 Prepares patients, collects relevant information for completion of procedures.
• 2 Perfo! rms all general diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• 3 Observant of patients conditions.
• 4 Practices radiation safety as described in Federal standards, utilizing ALARA policy.
• 5 Understands and operates electronic information systems.
• 6 Compiles appropriate records to expedite results.
• 7 Operates mobile radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment within the department, in the OR

environment, and throughout the hospital.

• 8 Administers contrast media as required.
• 9 Participates in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of diagnostic

radiology and to meet the continuing education requirements of the ARRT.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

Required - Successful completion of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

(ARRT Eligible), Current Registration by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or current Commonwealth of Virg! inia License to Practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
Preferred -One year experience as Radiologic Technologist in hospital environment.

EDUCATION

Required -Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

ARRT registered.

CPR eligible.

Preferred -As above, with successful completion of formal computer courses.

CPR certified.
