Having the ability to query databases and perform statistical analysis
Being able to develop or program databases
Data Analytics, experien! ce in understanding data hierarchy, aggregations, understand complexes in dimensional data structure and able to do analytics (e.g. high cost payments, utilization trends, Cost of care etc.)
Ability to study, analyze and profile data
Ability to work with business to understand intelligence need, identify what intelligence can be provided with available data
HealthCare experience highly preferred
Exposure to Data Visualization/mining tools (Eg: R) & BI tools like BO, Cognos etc
Being able to create examples, prototypes, demonstrations
Having a good understanding of design and architecture principles
Need to have statistical, mathematical, predictive modeling as well as business strategy skills to build the algorithms necessary
