Description:
Responsibilities:
Defines solutions (requirements, designs, services, recommendations) to business/systems problems and owns the integrity of the solution through customer acceptance and final disposition of solution.
Responsible for the development, maintenance, management, and delivery of technical information or documentation to the appropriate audiences in the appropriate Client standard formats via print and online mediums.
Responsible for the design, development and administration of transactional and analytical data constructs/structures. Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies.
Includes expertise in data quality, data organization, metadata, and data profiling.
Assis! t Data Stewards in assessing application compliance to the Inf! ormation and Data Management (IDM) policy
Research and document field level data
Develop, document, and implement data quality controls
Work closely with Bank Platform stewards
Travel may be required on occasion (10-15%)
A Data Quality Lead should:
Enjoy collaboration
Become or already be familiar with core business processes
Can speak “tech†when necessary
Can articulate the value of a data model
Understand
Knows when and how to call on higher-ups for support
Required Skills:
4 Year college degree in Information Systems or analytical field
2 Years experience in Data Warehousing, Data Analysis, BI, or Data Management
2 Years experience in SQL
Ability to manage processes and programs
Common skill sets â€" Oracle, VB and UNIX 1-3 yrs. Experience
OLAP/SQL Tools 1-3 yrs experience with MVS, Teradata, SAS, Brio or comparable
Ability to deliver technical reports in written and ! oral form to team lead
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
5 Years experience in Data Warehousing, Data Analysis, BI, or Data Management
5 Years experience in Bank Mainframe platforms and supporting applications
5 Years experience in one of more of the following:
Structured Query Language (SQL), Teradata, Business Objects, DB2
Teradata Professional Certification
PMP certification
Six Sigma Certification
