The Corporate Support Services Office has an immediate opening for a Business Consultant or Senior Business Consultant. This role is a senior level business and technology analyst, specializing in process improvement, strategic planning, project requirements facilitation, and a wide variety of business analysis projects.
Business Consultants are responsible for influencing Federal Reserve System direction through aligning technical and business process solutions with organizational strategies. This is accomplished by assessing requirements, providing consultation, thought leadership and business specific expertise to deliver technical / business solutions for local and national strategic initiatives in support of District, Business Line and System goals
Business Consultants direct complex business initiatives. Specifically, the se! lected candidate will work closely with the Corporate Support ! Services Finance team, supporting complex financial analysis for IT, Law Enforcement, Facilities Management, Health Services, and the Corporate Support Services Office.
In this role, primary responsibilities will include:
A* Support for project based business case development and financial analysis
A* Consultative analysis supporting departmental budget and planning processes
A* Analysis, research, and presentations for complex Finance special projects
The range for the Business Consultant position is $85,093 - $132, 958 annually, salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individuala s knowledge, skills and experience
The range for the Senior Business Consultant position is $98,510 - $153,922 annually; salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individuala s knowledge, skills and experience

Provide strategic consultation in defining or designing business processes for the District, System, National Business Lines and/or local business areas
Identifies enabling technologies for the District, System, National Business Lines and/or local business areas.
Applies technology to address business strategic objectives. Assesses technical solutions to align with near and long term needs and seeks alternative solutions
Provides strategic consultation in defining or designing business applications and systems
Remains current on industry technology trends, use, and applicability to! the FRS
Educate, sensitize and manage the expectations of Res! erve Banks and business lines to the opportunities, challenges, and fundamentals of technology. Assesses near and long term needs, develops alternative solutions, advises on options/risk/cost versus benefits, and brings attention to any impacts on other business processes and District/System priorities
Seeks opportunities and prioritizes work to apply technology and/or strategic solutions to business processes
Develops and maintains credible and effective working relations with Corporate Support Service business area management in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of business problems, IT strategies, issues and priorities
Implements and/or facilitates the development of cross-functional solutions that combine knowledge of business areas, advanced and comprehensive technological options, and strategic guidance
Provides Senior Business Management with an understanding of how technology may provide added-value to meet business need! s, and the ability to link it to redesigned business and technology processes.
Through analytical and conceptual planning, identifies and communicates new business and technology concepts for a variety of business and IT projects
Builds positive and active partnerships within specific areas of discipline locally and nationally
Assumes a leadership role in clarifying and communicating vision for short and long term planning locally and nationally
Demonstrates subject matter expertise within specific or multiple technology disciplines
Implements technology solutions to alleviate remote and elusive symptoms often spanning multiple environments (e.g. cross functional, local, regional, and national)
