Vaco Richmond is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst position for a growing, stable company that is headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia. This position is located in! Responsibilities:

• Conducts complex technical analysis to report on future and current financial performance, including analyses on budgets, forecasts, operating results, business plans and investment opportunities.
• Makes recommendations to improve operating results.
• Assist in development and measurement against identified key performance indicators
• Work closely with the Finance team in the monthly review of key Balance Sheet/P&L items
• Plans the budgeting and forecasting processes for various functions in the organization
• Supports and recommends solutions to users who must make economic or business decisions.
• Actively participates in and may lead continuous improvement initiatives and updating of budgeting and forecasting policies and procedures.
• Creates models upon which business decisions can be based in order to accurately depict the business' financial informatio! n.

Qualifications:

• BS in Accoun! ting or Finance required, MBA or CPA preferred
• 4-7 years of corporate financial analysis and accounting experience
• Advanced analytic skills and the ability to support sound business decisions with solid reports
• Demonstrated advanced computer proficiency, specifically with MS Excel
• Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
