Reports To: Inside Sales Manager of Water & Wastewater Division
Richmond, VA
TriMech Services, an engineering staffing and plac! ement agency has a Richmond client with an immediate need for a permanent, full-time Contracts Administrator. This individual is responsible to fulfill contractual agreements by coordinating professional and technical services. In addition this person would be responsible for:
Managing contract deadlines through job and vendor scheduling, as well as Protecting or improving as-booked profit margins, Fostering loyal customer relationships, and Processing contracts through material-and-resource-planning software to ensure accurate data is available for analysis.

Time management - Manage one's own time and the time required for projects along with the ability to prioritize the
tasks required to run the daily business.
Effective Speaking - Must be able to establish a friendly, customer service rapport on the phone.
Reading Comprehension - Understand written sentences and paragraphs in w! ork related documents.
Computer skills Proficient in Outlo! ok, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat as a minimum.
Typing Speeds suitable for a professional working environment (~40 wpm)
Active Learning- Understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and
decision making.
Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of others' reactions and formulating an appropriate response.
Deductive Reasoning -The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce sensible answers.
Intuition Capable of identifying and addressing potential problems before they become issues.
Conflict Resolution Ability to look objectively at a conflict, summarize facts, and reach a mutually beneficial solution
independently or with the help of a manager.
Travel Occasional domestic and international travel to customers, vendors, and/or factory locations.
Tasks / Responsibilities this person would take on:
1. Manage multiple contracts at a fast pace.
2. Process contr! acts through Syteline Manufacturing and Accounting Control System requiring full understanding of
Syteline table interrelationships.
3. Generate order verifications within 2 working days of receipt of released PO.
4. Find suitable stocked pumps/mixers for orders either directly off-the-shelf or by creating a shop job to modify stock.
5. Order non-stocked pumps/mixers directly from the factory.
6. Departmental expediting with shop, vendors, factories, technical services, and freight forwarders to maintain confirmed
deliveries.
7. Protect margin by proofing contracts for discrepancies or errors, entering correct data, and searching for less
expensive suppliers.
8. Research, collect, and report information.
9. Assemble project specific operations and maintenance manuals according to detailed specifications.
10. Act as liaison between company and customer, guiding customer as necessary.
11. Administer permissions to pricing progra! m.
12. Collect NCRs for the department along with associated costs.! File associated warranty claims with suppliers. Follow
up on claims to protect margin.
13. Departmental filing and records management. Requires light lifting.
14. Other responsibilities, as assigned.
Education / Experience:
B.S. degree in a technical discipline and a minimum 2 years experience in technical sales required.
