Processes transactions in one or more of the company's internal operations to support domestic and international consumer, commercial and wholesale bank businesses or services functions. Responsibilities may include: basic level reporting, customer service support, reviewing and processing transactions for item processing, sorting using electronic or mechanical equipment, reconciling, statement rendering, MICR/image, float, lock box, remittance, ATM deposit, and performing other support operations functions as required. Maintains internal operational and financial controls and ensures they meet bank standards. Ensures quality service and effective and efficient operations support for the assigned area's internal business partners and/or external customers/clients. Performs all the functions required at the Sr. Ops Rep level and typically acts as a workflow coordinator and/or a subject matter expert. Able to prioritize and dist! ribute daily work to meet deadlines and goals. Demonstrates a ! good working knowledge of the processes and procedures and the ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities. May provide guidance and direction to less experienced team members.
Qualifications
- To perform message routing repair and electronic funds transfer operations, ensuring message delivery in accordance with departmental guidelines through the WTX system.
- Candidate will be required to work in a number of WTX repair queues for items that were unable to straight through process and take the necessary action to analyze the reject and route the message to the correct destination.
- Handle telephone and email enquires.
- Candidate will be required to work overtime hours for weekend testing, staff shortages and Public Holidays
- This role is for Permanent night shift from Sunday night thru Thursday night 11:30pm â€" 08:30am ET
- Good PC and keyboard skills! .
- Broad knowledge of SWIFT categories of MT types
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Positive, "can do" attitude
- Ability to multitask
- Can operate in a fast paced environment and adaptable to change.
- Learns new systems quickly.
- Ability to work accurately to deadlines.
- Able to work independently, analyzing problems with good judgment, using initiative and common sense.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of SWIFT standards advantageous
- Technical and operating knowledge of Message Switch/Middleware
- RMA (Relationship management Authority) advantageous
